Thanks, Max. I'm falling in love with brushes, I've always been afraid of them in the past, and stuck with the safety of a pen. I'm making an effort to only use traditional tools lately. No markers, felt pens or other short cuts.
Thanks for the kind words, Hutch. I've been making a concerted effort to avoid symmetry for the last few years. I'm not always successful, there have been lapses, but I'm trying my best. It became a bad reflex after doing a couple hundred "In your face" apparel and t-shirt illustrations at Warner Brothers.
Most designers seem to love symmetry, but I think illustrators should always try to avoid it.

He's scary! Great expression and fantastic brushwork Vince.

Damn you're good! I love the asymmetry between the clothespin and the button. An interesting bit of character personality.

I love this big "exaggerated" muscle character...(reminds me of greg). Great powerful personality; great use of medium. Really reads!
Thanks, Kimzie.
Does Greg wear tight-fitting bib overalls too?
He looks like the Hulk's distant relative....
It's funny you should mention him, I was thinking of the Hulk and his transformation powers at the time I drew this one.
This character, Morton, has the ability to morph into other shapes when he needs to.
I guess you can never stray too far from the classics.
God Bless Jack Kirby & Stan Lee.
Thanks, Ry.
