New strip for the May issue of The Red Hook Star-Review...

Another new strip...

This one was done for Craig Yoe's upcoming "The Official Barf Book"...

Here's the rough I showed Craig for approval...

Craig just asked me to change the copy in panel three and lay it out to fit two pages, hence the final approach.

A new Comic Strip...

Here's another strip created for The Red Hook Star-Review. I'm also including the rough layout.

"The Other Side"

Latest tracks by "The Other Side" Here's a rough recording from last week's rehearsal...

music and art...

Sketches from the Thursday Jam.

More Thursday Night Jam sketches...

Nice to have a place where I can play some music and create a little art. Ya gotta love Brooklyn!

Down and dirty sketches...

Luckily there's a weekly jam in my neighborhood every Thursday night. Last week in addition to playing some music, I also got a chance to sketch some of the musicians as they played.
Best of both worlds!

Winter blows in Brooklyn...

Preview panel...

Here's a raw panel from the forthcoming comic strip. Still needs some clean-up and copy.

Here's the final...

Hard to believe, I know...

...but here's a new post. It's a strip I've written for a local monthly newspaper. It's been so long since the last one I think I've forgotten how this works! I'll post the finished version as soon as I can set & edit copy.

Miles Davis & John Coltrane - So What (Live Video)

Now that you've had to sit through two in a row of our feeble attempts at a musical performance, here's an amazing example of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Friends laying it down. Enjoy...

'Heatwave' in the Park...

'Cool Jerk' live in Carroll Park, Brooklyn...

Promo Flyer in Blue--

How I'm spending my Summer Vacation...

Been rehearsing since early June with a group of friends who I played in bands with a few decades ago. It's been a lot of work and a lot of fun. Needless to say it's kept me away from the drawing board for a while. But today I sat down and designed a 'flyer' for the event, in very much the same way I would have done it in the '70s.

Nice to be Home again!

Have a blast!
