Great sketches. When did you do these?

Yesterday (Saturday). I've been doing a lot of sketching lately, nothing special, just cartoony stuff.

Missing you very much. I hope your visit is going well.

Great characters- I love the variety!

Man! I am so jealous of you sometimes, and to make matters worse you make it look so damn easy! Great stuff!

There's a lot of lovin' going on here, and I thank all of you for it.

Craig- Miss you and Adrian being around here very much. Hope you and your family are doing well.

Thanks, K-Dog. I'm trying to keep running with the pack. Just having fun.

Jen- Thank you. I'm glad you see a variety in this kind of stuff. I just 'zone out' when I'm working on them. In fact this page of characters is nothing like the idea I began with. there was supposed to be a common theme, but it just turned into a bunch of unconnected character studies.

PJ- How the heck are you buddy, did you do any research on buying your drums yet? As always- thanks a bunch for the positive feedback.

I agree with PJ-you make these look so damn easy!

Not easy-- frustrating.

Truth is, Kim, I completely blew the concept that was supposed to tie these characters together.

Thankfully, I had a bit of fun with the inking process. And that's why I posted it.

But it went off the rails as soon as I started drawing the humanoid turtle.

Oh, well...

The humanoid turtle is fun. Greetings Vincee.

Very nice Vince I love the diversity, hey I just tried going to Gum or Mints and it's gone, any idea what happened?

Vince M said...

I love this-- Gum or Mints ...taken out, deader than disco, shot in the effin' head! Amen.

Oh , well -- it was fun while it lasted.

I've no idea what happened, but I have wanted to erase it in the past few months.
Thanks for saving me the guilt trip.

wow...mind blowing drawings.

Thanks, Mr. Tuzon.
When you like-- I like.

Vince....how did you get that many good drawings on ONE page?? Beautiful stuff.

Vince M said...

Thanks, Ry. It was supposed to be an editorial about how most comic book artists and animators write an overabundance of pop references into their dialogue, a practice that drives me nuts.
But I ran out of steam and it wound up being a crowd of unconnected characters.

Hey Vince,
These are fantastic....it looks like you could do this all day.
Sorry I haven't checked in for awhile. I just needed to pull back on the whole blog thing and focus on other stuff.
I hope all is well with you sir.

Thanks a lot for stopping by, Jimbo. Love the prose you've been posting lately, well written and interesting stuff.
