Top drawing. The colour scheme is wonderful.

Boy, seeing this one up close really brings it to life....a lot of nice detail you miss out on if you only view it small.

Thanks Max, I've been taking tentative steps with Photoshop coloring over inked drawings, with varying results. This one was deemed presentable.

Ry, as always, thanks for the encouraging comments.

( Judging by the time of your post, Ry, I'd say that I was visited by "The Midnight Blogger". ;--D )

Great! I see some Jack Davis and Bill Wray influence in it. Also Mark Martin. Heard of him?

Thanks, Phantom. Those are some pretty heavy names you're mentioning. Yes Jack Davis has been and will always be an influence on me. I also think that Bill Wray is a genius, whether he's cartooning or painting California landscapes. If you haven't seen his fine art work you need to do so.
And I think Mark Martin is one of the world's greatest comic book storytellers.

Love the line work, as always, pal. Great protruding chin. I like how the eyebrows wrap around the brow bone. Great attention to detail. Are you experimenting w/ textures in photoshop?

Thanks guys.

Yeah, Hutch I'm hacking around a little with textures and different effects a bit. Fun stuff. I really enjoy coloring on the Tablet.

Love this and your little guy down below. Awesome exploration with Photoshop, V!

I work right across the cubicle divider of your old friend Dwight W! He has shown me lots of Photoshop tricks and is a great guy! He speaks very highly of you!

Thanks for the comments about my work, Kim and especially for the kind and generous words about my dear friend Dwight. I love the man. He's always there and always appreciated. I cherish my buddy Dwight Wanhala, one of the biggest sets of shoulders in our business. Rock on, "Guide Dog"!

Thanks again, KimZam.
