I've got a good amount of these, Kim. I caught the 'bug' when I began working at Disney, it seemed like everyone there had this great little stash of Golden Books.
Do you have the little Golden book on Bambi? It's the one by Felix Salten-not disney. I bought it when I was a kid because the watercolor illustrations are incredible. I have it around the house somewhere...
No Kim, I've never seen the Bambi book by Salten, but it sounds interesting. I'll have to look for it.
I vaguely remember the Rand-McNally books, they were visually beautiful. I hope to post some stories from the Huckleberry Hound Treasury soon. Thanks for stopping by!
