Very telling....What inspired this?
Nothing from my life, Midnight Blogger, I assure you. Just the need to come up with a few themes for editorial art samples. It was done while I was working in Advertising, doing production work. I was still eager to be an illustrator and thought that editorial art was a good way to go.
A few months later I became an illustrator at Gem Studio, doing storyboards, comps for print ads and finished illustration, and the need to pursue editorial work evaporated.
I found this the other day in my flat files and thought it was different from what I normally post, so I put it up.

Man, those must be SOME flat files......are they a mile deep?
They are pretty full, Ry. I've saved everything, as a way of charting progress. Some pieces go as far back as 1963.
