vince...i for one are happy that you're on facebook....i'm glad i joined...i've reconnected with people i grew up with, and if you happen to get any nut cases bothering you,you can "unfriend" them right away....
I guess from the tone of the strip that a lot of you must think I dislike Facebook. Far from it, in fact it's been fun catching up with old friends and keeping in touch with family.
The main reason I use a cynical approach when I make these strips is because it's funnier than a love letter on any given subject. Otherwise I'd end up sounding like Leonard Maltin, and when I think of a model for writing and drawing a comic strip the smarmy approach is not even on the grid. I steer toward the Kurtzman method: Find the truth and pee all over it!
Plus, it's the one area in my life that's still left to me, where I can give my opinion on something or someone without any outside interference. MY world, G!
Thanks again, Ry, Jim, Dan, ED and Brian, for taking the time to comment, I appreciate your effort and involvement.
I liked your POV, Vince! I, for one, have a love-hate relationship with fb. I quit it all the time only to rejoin b/c "oh wait, I don't know that person's email or phone!" uuuugh... what are we to do? Hope you're doing well. I miss you guys!
I love the part how you work all day now and then spend more time on FB after work. Isn't that the truth? I'm terrible. I hardly answer back. Everyone probably thinks I'm a snob but I just don't have a lot of time. I'd rather be working on my own projects. I'd rather be slappin' real paint around on a fresh piece of canvas. I tend to be a little hermit and Greg gets on me all the time-why don't you ever call any of your friends? etc. etc. You know how it is. You're a parent...

This made me laugh out loud. Nice to get that window into the mind of Musacchia!
Fun stuff Vince! I have resisted the Facebook giant too. I was going to Twitter, but then Miley Cyrus quit Twitter, so I figured what's the point now?
So true, so true. Unlike OTHER people, you are funny. You have something here so keep it going and that`s an order.

Thanks for weighing in, guys.

Love your life stories Vincee!

Hi Vince, great new stuff here, you're in great artistic shape, your boards flow so well, great way of communicating.
Thanks, Elizabeth, Dorota, Kim and Max. This silly little project of mine has been a lot of fun to cobble together.
I knew someone who refused to own a computer for just this reason. (They came from the voodvork out.)
Ha! That line about Leonard Maltin is hilarious!
